What a weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Sunday 's show kicked off bright and early 6:30am and finished at 9pm! The show was broke down into three parts; morning segment was educational, afternoon was editorial and evening was illusion (theatrical part). Which you can see highlights of at www.tigiworldrelease.com! There will be more to come in a few weeks too!
Monday consisted of classrooms rangin' from Tigi Colour,New Classic Cuts,Instinctive demos (english and spanish) and a bussiness semiar from James Morrison. The went well minus some hick-ups from the hotel staff not blockin' off two the main rooms,but the show must keep crackin' on!!! We ended the day around 4pm. The photgraphic awards were on at 7pm-10pm then off to see The Love show!!!!!!!! All in all the weekend was fast and furious but amazin' at the same time.
Thanks to everyone Tigi worldwide that helped( too many to thank) out with the show!!! We couldn't do it without cha!!!!!
A big shout out to Mike Grout (aka my pops) who witnessed his first show live and was blown away.....one love!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vegas!!!!!!!

Got in Wed had little b-day celebration that started off seeing my best friend from age five(his names RD). He's an amazin' sushi chef at RM Seafood in Mandalay Bay(check him out)! It feels good to be back in my old stompin grounds! We then met up with Zoe,Haley,Sue and Nick at The Mix for drinks! What a view!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing to crazy cause work all weekend!!!
Had breakfast meeting with Mike Esa, Nick,Zoe,Sue and Haley to chat about the first day of rehearsals. The hair team then appointed what the looks were for each mode. Rehearsals went amazing.....even without the hair, make-up and clothes done the running of the show looks insane!!!! We have a great group of models(77 of them total). The music sounds amazing for each segment,can't wait hear it on the big system. We finished last night at 10pm! Long day when you're on the UK time(8 hour differnce). All of the bosses have arrived, so we checked in to let them know everything is running smooth.
Today is Friday second day of rehearsals. Started at 10am. Had great breakfast meeting with Nick Irwin,Carlos Cintron, Zak Mascolo, Caroline(his lady) and their beautiful daughter Fabiana. The color team Berry, Gabrial,and Richy ,who just flew in from Italy and went straight to work, grande prova, have started prep on a few of the models to cut down the load on Sat. We should finish around 7pm tonight...hopefully! The rest of the International Team arrives tonight. Big day tomorrow getting all the prep done, kicks off at 8:30 am! More to come!!

TUESDAY

A day fullfilled with the rest of the mens product range step-by-steps and final check over list for hair being packed. Here' s some pic's of the studio with the cases and hair prep area after we've been through it and through it!!!!!
I off to finish packin' and grub....maybe go to Boombox for a fashion week party so I sleep well on the plane???!!!!! It is my Birthday!!!!!!! I'm in a car at 7:45am off at 11 to vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday

Most of the team were out doin' In-Salons or regional seminars on Monday! Nick,Alan amd Anthony did the step-by-step videos for the new mens line from Tigi, B for men.
I was doin' an In-Salon at a Tigi key account, White Hair&Beauty. I was on a train at 7:45am arrrived at the salon at 9:30 ready to do my thing! They were a lovely group and seemed to enjoy the day! Well they laughed at my jokes at least....thanks for that!!! After the day of demoing and hands-on cutting i was straight back on the train back to London!!
Tomorrow we'll be packin the 4 hair cases to take to Vegas( along with 16 cases of clothes)!!!!!!!!!

14 SEPTEMBER

Final meeting for the creative team. In London! Discussing the final running order of show and who's captaining/or in what area.The meeting is hosted by the European Creative director Nick Irwin(who just won platform artist of the year).

Everyone receives their folder with the complete itenerary provided by Esa Live(Mike Esa our show producer) on our order/times down to the very minute of what's happin & where we all need to be! Nick discusses the importance of the International team beinging there and being humble in what we do.
Pat Mascolo talked about the new set up for her makeup team. "They will all be with the hair segment that they will be responsible for (instead of in an other room)". Stressing the total concept!

Our fearless leader, Anthony talks about we are all going to work & have fun but work first.This was especially for to the first timers visiting Vegas (its my old stompin grounds). Be on time & be humble. He goes on to tell us about the meet and greets on sat morn/night with clients!

Monday we work in Look& Learn classrooms. Then we are attendin the Photographic awards and then....we all go see the circ du sole show, Love!

Nick&Akos finished the final part of prep on the shapes for the night time segment of the show. Which means we have the weekend off .... Yes! Thanks to Akos for plowing through that last part, nice one!
Time to get last minute shoppin done for Vegas attire!
